what are they?

Things I love to share are the ones that make my day when I wake up, or make me feel good about my self, or even better help me learn something new every single day.

The assasination of Ines de Castro

What a tragic story that has inspired Karl Briullov into making this strong painting of scene where Ines de Castro the mistress of Prince Pedro of Portugal is going to be killed in front of her child.

Her figure is shown with bright colors, almost to resemble an angel.

Her poor children are trying to hold her and save her.

The expression on the executors faces is wild and shows that they are determined to proceed to their actions.

A heart breaking story with an even more bizarre ending.

Look it up and you will be surprised of what a man's love can do.
