P90X Shoulders and Arms

Next workout in P90X is shoulders and arms.

I do not have weights at home so I am doing this exercise with my bands but I am not very happy as I do not feel the "burn", it is like it is too easy for me.

I think that for this one I shall have to buy some weights which will allow me to do the whole range of the exercises and really feel the muscles working.

This is again a good and basic workout that should not be taken lightly by those who are not beginners, this is some serious workout!

I had never seen this film which won the 2009 Best Foreign Language Oscar, and when I found that it was on TV the other day I just had to watch it, even though I was really tired.

Sit relaxed, get yourself a handkerchief, close mobiles etc, and dive into a beautiful journey that celebrates life through death.


It is not depressing, on the contrary. 

It is a poetic film that gives you the opportunity to see that even an entirely different culture as is the Japanese,  dealing with death issues which are considered a taboo - as it is everywhere - can help you appreciate life and what you have.

P90X - Plyometrics

This is the second exercise routin of the P90X box.

Tony Horton has added some fun and not so boring exercises like the "rock star" jumb to keep your mind from thinking OMG HOW DIFFICULT IS THIS ONE?

For a beginner to succesfully complete the whole hour without collapsing would be probably a dream...

Even I who consider myself to be in a fairly good shape had some difficulty doing all the jumbs, and ups, and downs, and more jumbs for the whole duration of the workout without losing my breath from time to time.

I cannot say that it is my favorite workout of the whole set, but it is definitely making you sweat.. and THAT'S the point!
